Looking for tips to maximize your closet space at home?

When you are standing in front of your closet, don’t you sometimes wish you have a little more space in your closet? You can never have too much closet space! There are many ways to make the closet space in your home more organized and streamlined. Pick a free day that works for you and you can meet your closet organizing goals with a little patience, the ideal organizing products, creativity and some decorating tricks.

Check out these helpful tips to maximize your closet space:

1. Discard the clothes that no longer fit. When you go through your clothes, you are sure to find a few clothing items you no longer use or does not fit.

2. Eliminate the clutter. Eliminating the clutter does not revolve only around your accessories, shoes, and clothes. Replace bulky plastic hangers to the thin hangers and watch how a little extra space you can create with this simple step!

3. Stop counting out the corners. In a bid to maximize your closet space, you you can add corner shelves or possibly hang rods to maximize the closet. This is a wonderful area to store your accessories.

4. Make use of the doors. In making use of your closet doors, you can hang some hooks in order to store lounge wear, belts, scarves or even your handbags. Also, you can choose to line the closet door using corkboard to hang some of your accessories.

5. Space Maintenance. When you have maximized your space, you should begin letting go of old things when bringing in the new ones. You can write a list of things you want to keep and those items you no longer use.

In maximizing your closet space, you can easily group the short hanging clothes at one corner of the closet. As for the long hanging clothes, you can place them at the other end. This helps in opening the floor space where you can place a small dresser or shoe rack.
